By using this site or taking part in an event, you accept the terms below, together with the Privacy Policy and the published Display Regulations.
1. Purpose
Virtual Air Festivals organises virtual airshow events inside the DCS World simulator and publishes related resources. Access to the public site is free and requires no account.
2. Acceptable use
You agree not to: attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site or its infrastructure; submit false information through the forms; use the forms to send unsolicited or abusive messages; scrape or reproduce content in bulk; or submit content that is illegal, defamatory, hateful or infringes anyone’s rights.
3. Applications and participation
Submitting an application creates no right to participate. Staff review each application and may accept or decline it at their discretion. Accepted teams are listed publicly with their name, abbreviation and country.
Participation is subject to the Display Regulations in full. Breaching them may lead to suspension of a slot or exclusion from an event, as set out in those regulations.
4. Content you submit
You keep ownership of everything you send us. By submitting a team name, logo, livery or description for publication, you grant us a free, non-exclusive licence to display it on this site and in event material, for as long as the related event listing remains online. You confirm you hold the rights needed to grant that licence.
5. Mods and downloads
Files listed in the Mods section are created by community authors and provided as is. They are not verified, endorsed or supported by us, and some are hosted on external services. You install them at your own risk, and remain responsible for complying with the licence each author has set and with the terms of DCS World.
6. Availability
The site and its events are provided on a best-effort basis by volunteers. Events may be postponed, modified or cancelled. We give no guarantee of uninterrupted availability.
7. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for indirect or consequential damage arising from use of the site, participation in an event, or installation of a downloaded file.
8. Changes
These terms may be updated. The version in force is the one published here on the day you use the site.
9. Governing law
Swiss law applies. Jurisdiction lies at the registered seat of the operator, subject to any mandatory consumer protection rules.
